One of our primary missions here at Q Wealth is to take you from the information age to the recommendation age. There's so much junk out there on the internet that if you start researching a new topic using a search engine, it can be hard to sort the wheat from the chaff. What I mean by this is that we have not only to find a way to make a living for ourselves from this, but also to screen access to our contacts to those who are really serious. Our discreet bankers, residence/citizenship facilitators and the like are simply not set up to handle dozens of calls every day with the same frequently asked questions over and over again from people with a little curiosity who just found their numbers on the internet. Many of them are people who work alone, not even having websites.

Kathleen Peddicord is someone who has been there, done that – an expat mother who has lived in many countries and built up a network of business contacts in dozens more. The inimitable Grandpa has been a guru of offshore planning, second passports and the like for years. He's the originator of the PT or Six Flags Theory for living a life legally free of bureaucratic interference. He's fiercely pro liberty and individual sovereignty, but very practical in his approach. Here you'll find specific tips, tricks and contacts you can put to use immediately. Gramps is not afraid to express views that many disagree with. For example, he doesn't agree with us about using gold as a hedge against inflation, or with our views supporting parallel banking systems. Grandpa loves his traditional Swiss banks. ESCAPE ARTIST
Escape Artist is a huge portal site that includes information on all aspects of working, investing, doing business and retiring abroad. Their low-frequency newsletter is essential reading for all expats and potential expats. Rather than espousing any particular views, the thing I like about this newsletter is that they open the forum for everybody and include articles with practical information from many writers, both established and unknown. It's well edited to keep the standard high.
