Panama Adventure Vacation
Day 1: Waterfall Hike In Falling Waters Nature Reserve.
We’ll meet you and your group at the bus station or airport in David, Panama in the morning and drive to Boquete. We will then begin an amazing hike in the Falling Waters Nature Reserve into remote virgin cloud forest surrounding the base of Volcan Baru. The trail parallels Quebrada La Mina, a gorgeous creek that meanders through the ridges and valleys above Boquete. We will explore an underground cavern, enjoy a picnic at the base of one of the most exquisite waterfalls in Boquete and rejuvenate yourself with an invigorating shower under the falls. Return to Boquete to your comfortable hotel. Lunch included.
Day 2: Spectacular Whitewater Rafting on the World Famous Chiriqui Viejo.
With more than 35 world-class Whitewater runs in Panama’s Chiriqui province alone, there is no paddling destination more extraordinary than Panama! For this trip, we will drive about an hour and a half from Boquete to Rio Chiriqui Viejo, near Panama’s border with Costa Rica. Originating on the northwest side of Volcan Baru, the Viejo is 128km long in total and offers several different sections of excellent Whitewater, ranging from class 2 to class 5. The section we select for your trip will depend on water levels for the trip day, your prior rafting experience, skill and desire. Regardless of the section that we choose, if you are looking for a heart-pounding glimpse of what makes Panama’s White-water famous around the globe, look no further! The Rio Chirqui Viejo is a must-do for you! Return to Boquete to your comfortable hotel. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 3-4 (1 night): Explore, sea kayak, snorkel, and play in the Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park.
From Boquete, we drive to Pedregal, a small fishing village just a few minutes outside David, Panama. From there, we’ll pass through the mangrove forested islands of Laguna de Chiriqui as we make our toward Golfo De Chiriqui National Marine Park, a 14,740 hectare marine park that encompasses many uninhabited islands and serves as a refuge for howler monkeys, leatherback and hawksbill turtles, dolphins, tiger herons and scores of exotic fish. We’ll go to a few of our favorite snorkeling spots and pass the days sea kayaking, swimming, fishing from the island and relaxing in hammocks. We will provide all camping, sea kayaking and snorkeling equipment. Day 3 includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and Day 4 includes breakfast and lunch. We will return to Boquete on the evening of Day 4 to our hotel.
Day 5: Boquete Tree Trek Canopy Tour
We will leave Boquete in the morning and head up into the cloud forest for 3km in total length divided into 12 different zip line cables. This is a trip traversing a cloud forest of century-old trees and waterfalls. The wildlife within the treetops is immense and varied making it possible to appreciate Panama’s native species of small animals and birds; with a bit of luck you may get the chance to see monkeys and the famed quetzal bird. In addition you can enjoy the great variety of orchids and wildflowers that you will find throughout the area.
We have lunch at the lodge after the trip and return to Boquete and visit Paradise Gardens, our local wildlife refuge for rescued animals. Hotel stays in Boquete. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 6: Explore the Habitat of the Resplendent Quetzal on the Los Quetzal Trail
The Los Quetzals trail unites the two communities of Boquete and Cerro Punta and is one of Panama’s most visited and popular hikes, named for a particular species of bird called the Respondent Quetzal. Quite elusive, these birds are a magnificent and rare treat to observe and are a favorite among birding enthusiasts. In addition to the Quetzal, there are more than 220 other bird species native to the area. From Boquete to Cerro Punta, the 10km (8 miles) trail climbs steadily (roughly 2500 vertical feet) as you pass from tropical rainforest to tropical cloud forest and takes approximately 4-6 hours to complete. We also offer a less strenuous out and back hike from Boquete. Return to Boquete to our hotel.
Day 7: Transport to David, Panama for your return flight or bus to Panama City.
Today, sadly, you have to depart, but you will definitely take with you some great memories and new experiences as well.

If you have a group of 4 or more, we will operate this trip anytime you decide to come (availability depending).
If your group is less than 4, we can accept a booking of a minimum of 2 persons as long as you book at least 2 months in advance.

$1200 per person (Double occupancy)
Single Occupancy add $150
Price includes: All hotels(6 nights) 1 night island camping, breakfast and lunch daily, dinner on the overnight island trip, all adventures as listed, round trip transport to and from David bus station or airport.
Not included: Airline tickets, entrance visa, alcoholic beverages and gratuities for guides.
For your evening meals in Boquete, there is a wide selection of restaurants, from local to international food. Prices may vary from $3-$20 a person. The local típico Panamanian food is excellent and very affordable!
