PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR RESERVATIONS- Space is limited!   Because we travel Panama frequently, Tranquilo House is listed as a budget vacation rental house for November through March 2011.  We currently have 3 double beds, 4 hammocks in the outdoor bedroom, and offer camping. Pets are welcome as long as they are cool for a small fee.

From David: Take the Potrerillos bus next to the Boquete bus. DO NOT take the Boquete bus. (about 35 minutes) $1.10 . 30 minutes past the hour, this bus goes directly toward Tranquilo House.

The Potrerillos gas station will be on the right, where the buses stop at the Y in the road. Potrerillos Ariba, uphill, is the wrong way. Left goes flat, Potrerillos Abajo, and has farmland on both sides- Pacific left, Volcano on the right.  It's all pasture for .5kms. You’ll approach the very first houses, say 'PARADA!', get off the bus, and take a right. Walk 30m, 1st left, all the way down. We're on the Right. Watch the two videos so you can recognize where you are.

From Boquete: Take bus down to Dolega (apx. 30 minutes). $1.00. Stop at 'Las Tres Estrellas'. Cross the street and wait for the Potrerillos bus. $.65 (15 minutes).

Get off in Potrerillos at the gas station:

Take a taxi, $1, call from internet café, or walk 15 mins!

I’m going to Ellen, the gringa’s house in Potrerillos Abajo. At the first house, also the 1st bus stop, known as Las Saldañas, make a right onto the gravel road. About 30 meters down on the left is a little driveway next to the vacant lot with tall grass. Turn left. You can see the blue house, Tranquilo House, at the end on the left. There’s no exit.
