Overview of your Panama City tour:

Uncover the fascinating evolution of Panama City — from its colonial beginnings to the vibrant capital it is today.

And when I say beginnings, I’m not just talking about Panama—we’ll be exploring the first Spanish settlement on the Pacific Coast of the Americas, founded in 1519.

We’ll visit Panamá Viejo, the original city, later destroyed in 1671 during the attack led by pirate Henry Morgan, which led to the relocation of the city.

From there, we’ll continue to Casco Antiguo, founded in 1673, a beautifully restored historic district filled with colonial architecture, plazas, and stories of resilience.

This tour is also personal for me. Growing up, I used to visit Casco with my family on Sunday afternoons. I still remember having raspao in Plaza de Francia while listening to street musicians.

My grandfather’s bookstore stood in Plaza Catedral until 1986—a place that holds deep meaning for my family.

Every time I walk these streets, I feel that same connection to my roots.

Discover the stories, flavors, and soul of Panama—where history and modern life meet in every corner.

Our guide, Adriana, is a true professional both as a guide and real estate agent. We requested a tour of the residential neighborhoods which we are interested in a potential purchase/investment and she organized a very efficient tour based on our specific parameters.
